We are currently looking for an Outbound logistics specialist, supporting the outbound traffic from our Distribution Centers to the customers, with focus on all channels across brands. The role can be based in our DC in Sint-Niklaas. In this role, you will work closely with the customer service teams, Brand operation teams and the European Distribution Centres.

Job Details:

• Collaborate with different brands, customer service teams, DC teams, external parties and operate as logistics support and point of escalation.
• Create monthly forecast and follow up.
• Invoice approval and control.
  
  

Operational data and analytics:

• Analyse and create carrier performance reports – monthly/weekly (and upon request)
• Work closely with the DT (PkMS) and all relevant business partners to define reporting needs, standards and roles and responsibilities.
  
  

Continuous improvements:

• Participate with all VF business partners on continuous process improvements and the implementations of Logistics related projects.
• Support with Logistics projects B2B/B2C (carrier switches, new process implementations etc)
• Explore and identify new tools to help streamline the Outbound Logistics flows.
• Follow up / drive fulfilment actions against the efficiency and cost to serve reduction initiatives.
• Partner with the fulfilment team leaders to identify further areas of inefficiency and potential cost to serve improvement areas.
• Support indirect procurement initiatives.
• Process & Service harmonization – to facilitate multi-brands.
• Work closely with the DCs shipping team and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure the department operates in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, which includes Outbound Logistics internal audit – compliance monitoring - metrics and process adherence.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Exposure and/or experience (internship, ~ 1 year) in logistics, supply chain and/or transportation environment. Ecommerce experience is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel – formulas, pivot table, graphs…
• Service and customer oriented, with focus on details and understanding business requirements
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in teams
• Analytic skills with a proactive approach
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written), Dutch is a plus
• Customer service attitude - Servicing the client is priority, customer centric mindset
• Transparent communicator - approachable and eager to inform and update the team and other stakeholders
