Our client provide a specialist range of consulting services in employee benefits, pension administration, pension fund management and compliance/governance, etc.
The Retirement team focuses on supplementary pensions, other employee benefits and pension fund management. To strengthen their legal support to the Retirement team, they are looking for a flexible and motivated legal expert with strong interest in supplementary pensions.

Description

As a Legal expert within our client’s Retirement team, you will work closely with the compliance team and benefits consultants. Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Support the benefits consultants with the legal aspects of projects such as plan changes, plan implementations, M&A’s, employee communications, etc ;
  • Provide governance related consulting services and/or advice to pension fund clients ;
  • Be the compliance officer for pension funds or provide support to the existing compliance officer ;
  • Manage the reporting related to Pension Funds (coordination and completion of annual reports in an automated system) ;
  • Liaise with control authorities ;
  • Follow changes/developments in the legislation and communicate to the rest of the team.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or master degree ;
  • A prior experience within Pensions, Insurance, Benefits & Compensations or other Financial Services is an asset but not required ;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French & English ;
  • You are an eager learner, accurate and flexible ;
  • You are deadline-oriented with good organizational skills ;
  • You are a team player with excellent social skills.
