An opportunity has arisen to join Eurostar as its Pricing Analyst.The Pricing Analyst is responsible for driving revenue within the Eurostar pricing and yield ecosystem, using performance of our pricing products analysis to propose changes and grow our reach and contribution.

This role is available to candidates in London, Paris or Brussels with flexible working options available.

Internal Only - this role is Grade D and can be based in London, Paris or Brussels.

We are looking for someone to...
  • Review the different Pricing Products and Ranges, ensuring they are constantly fit for purpose and proactively propose changes
  • Perform analysis on pricing changes in order to assess the impact on revenue performance and customer behaviour
  • Report on the performance of Pricing Products and Ranges and ensure that the findings are translated into actionable insights
  • Lead Price Promotions and the delivery of other pricing initiatives by liaising with the relevant stakeholders, internally and externally and ensure a successful delivery.
  • Control the process of creating, modifying and deleting tariffs and pricing products and to ensure they are correctly loaded in our inventory systems by liaising with the Inventory Data Loading team
  • Review pricing proposals from other teams, evaluate them and make recommendations.
  • Ensure that tariffs and other pricing products are communicated to both customers and distributors in an accurate and timely manner
  • Respond to internal and external queries about tariffs and pricing products

Requirements

You will need to:
  • Be highly numerical with analytical background and/or previous experience
  • Be an expert in the use of Excel and PowerBI
  • Have the ability to draw logical conclusions from diverse sets of reports and data, and present these conclusions in a clear and concise manner
  • Have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Have excellent written and oral presentation skill
  • Be Fluent English, with Dutch or French desirable
  • Understanding of, and experience in, the management and manipulation of data, with a natural flair for creating reports and models.
  • Understanding of pricing and revenue management principles and practices in the travel marketplace is a plus
  • Practical commercial experience, good overall commercial/financial knowledge
  • Be organised, flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Be self-motivated, with strong teamwork skills
