About The Job

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will controbute to planning, preparation, exercising and execution of online vulnerability assessments for systems and networks, and applications, then liaises with the stakeholders for removing or mitigating the identified vulnerabilities.

About You

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Principal Technician (Security Compliance) with ideally a higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience; or, a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.

You Must Have
  • Expert level of knowledge of Tenable.SC and Nessus applications running on Linux systems; interpreting system, security and application logs; diagnose faults, identify abnormal behaviours; remediate errors; improve performance;
  • Expert level of knowledge in developing vulnerability assessment scans configurations for large networks, without impacting the availability or the performance of the scanned systems;
  • Expert level of knowledge in developing advanced Nessus configurations using audit files for implementing compliancy checks for operating systems, network devices and applications;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Power BI Report Server applications; interpreting application logs; diagnose faults, identify abnormal behaviours; remediate errors, improve performance, develop queries, functions, procedures, views.
Industry leading certification in the area of Cybersecurity such as MCSA, MCSE/S, SANS GIAC certifications; as well as Tenable Certified Security Engineer are a plus.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of French is desirable.
