The office in Belgium is located close to the airport which provides flexibility to our employees who need to arrange their business travel. The office is a base for around 40 employees and contains the EMEA Supply Chain team, Finance and People and Culture. At our Belgium office we support several countries. Our workforce is diverse - we have a lot of different nationalities and cultures, which brings an international flow throughout the whole office. Specifically for the Benelux region – we have around 20 field based people who come into the office to help build connections between different departments, resulting in a truly One Ortho approach.
What you’ll be doing:
Assign product to customer orders per allocation strategies, and FEFO logic to meet customer, inventory, scrap and business targets.
Execute backorder release processes.
Monitor order holds, restrictions and takes follow-up actions as necessary.
Develop / maintain operating procedure and remain current with internal policies.
Support daily & weekly data collection, reconciliation and reporting processes with ability to interpret results
Identify, resolve issues and escalate appropriately
Identify opportunities to improve performance and contribute to implement solutions
Perform job duties in a way that meets or exceeds individual performance metrics established by Management in support of job competencies.
Performs other related duties as required.
What you’ll need to succeed:
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
A minimum of 1-3 years of business experience working in a Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Quality related environment is required. Previous experience in a health-related industry is highly desirable.
Comfortable with routine tasks
Strong ability in the following job competencies: customer focus, interpersonal communications, teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
Proven multi-tasking ability.
Knowledge of ERP systems is highly recommended and preferably SAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated analytical skills are preferred.
This position requires a flexible & rotating work schedule to accommodate inventory receipt and assignment of customer orders.
