Terumo Europe is a core player in the EMEA healthcare market. We are a strong actor of the Terumo Corporation (Japan), producing, distributing, marketing and selling a vast range of medical devices. Terumo Europe EMEA headquarters and production facilities are located in Leuven (Belgium) with sales and marketing offices across the EMEA region.Job description:

As a Product Management Intern in one of our Business Units (e.g. Interventional Systems, Cardiovascular, Pharmaceutical Solutions, Medical Products, Diabetes Care), you will provide support towards day-to-day product management activities, as well as several ongoing projects.

Thereby, you will contribute directly to the further enhancement of our product management for the business unit. You will be a part of a high-quality team and you will be working with Product Managers, the Clinical Support Team, as well as the Marketing Communications Team.

Besides the internship or project at your department, you’ll get the opportunity to connect with multiple people at Terumo, including fellow interns and the senior management. In addition, you’ll get the opportunity to learn about the company in different ways.

Job Responsibilities

As our Product Management Intern, you will be involved in several projects. Therefore, you will need to provide support in the execution of several product management and marketing aspects. You will be involved in the following tasks:

• Support of the Product Managers in their day-to-day business, the development and implementation of the marketing program in relation with the European strategy
• Development of promotional marketing materials (in collaboration with the Product Managers and the Marketing Communications Specialist)
• Organization and execution of internal and external training activities (in collaboration with the Product Managers and the Clinical Support Team)
• Preparation of market-, customer-, and competitor analyses
• Support of the preparation and participation in external congresses and/or customer events
• Cross-departmental collaboration and alignment
• Development of presentation materials for internal and external meetings
  

Seeked Profile

• Currently involved in studies that provide you with a relevant background to perform well within the internship context. E.g. Business Administration / Management, Marketing, Health Economics, Health Care Management, or comparable studies
• Good critical, analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and writing skills)
• Comfortable to work in a multi-cultural / international environment
• Creativity and high regard for attention to detail and quality
• Self-initiative / hands-on mentality and independent working style
• Reliable team player, but also take responsibilities on yourself
• Good knowledge and understanding of MS Office (word, excel, ppt)
