Product Owner Digital Twins (Antwerp/Brussels)

Auge, whose name ‘Augmented Energy’ reflects a purpose dedicated to energy transition, now offers the most complete and future-proof solutions in the field of smart buildings. The applications developed by Auge have been designed to be easy to use and available on both smartphones and computers. With the support of Proximus, BESIX and i.Leco, it will continue to expand this ecosystem, particularly in three main areas: sustainability, comfort and maintenance.

Auge is a start-up that connects the physical building to a series of useful digital applications that allow building users and facility managers to optimise energy consumption and reduce carbon footprint, which will help combat climate change, to improve comfort in the workplace and to facilitate efficient operations. In other words, auge is a company devoted to making the energy transition happen!

In order to make this reality we need buildings to be activated in the energy system. We are doing this by using the digital twin of the building. This twin allows for a myriad of next generation proptech applications and we consider it to be the cornerstone in really making a difference in digital real estate.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Product Owner Digital Twinswho will:

• Identify ways to transform existing solutions while thinking through innovative new solutions that need to be built, partnered with, or bought;
• Drive a user/customer-centric methodology for product development rooted in market research and validating theses about unmet needs and unique value propositions that will give us a competitive advantage;
• Champion the voice of the customer; establish one-to-many customer and partner forums for product feedback; engage deeply and personally with customers, partners, and the field;
• Collaborate with design and development teams to achieve the product vision;
• Work with our product operations team to ensure our product is properly deployed, adopted and supported;
• Establish objectives and key results to ensure your products achieve their goals;
• Deliver a strong and compelling product that integrates with unique technology, data and people;
• Work with clients to understand operational requirements and develop tools and strategies to improve operations;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define workflow problem statements, identify key data inputs, and develop solutions;
• Research, identify and evaluate new software pertaining to Digital Twins or BIM, and determining practicality based on our client’s requirements;
• Work with a cross-functional team in the development of a road map to enable delivery of a full Digital Twin and automation;
• Work both independently, and with the internal project team in the preparation of proposals, work plans, and project schedules and deliverables;
• Work with potential vendors and perform technical oversight of vendor activities;
• Actively provide technology solutions, supporting the entire Digital Building Lifecycle, from Planning and Design to Construction, Handover, and Operations;
• Possibility to work from the Antwerp/Brussels/Geel office;

• You have at least 5 years of experience in BIM related matters;
• Fluent in English;
• Interest in Digital Twin and Thread, agile development methods, augmented reality, IoT, advanced analytics or data transformation / migration;
• Experience with Azure digital twins and an interest in real estate is a plus;
• Knowledgeable in mobile app, cloud (AWS) and hardware integration technology (AI experience is a plus);
• Master the latest software development technologies & methodologies (SaaS, API’s, integration…);
• Used to giving presentations to clients at a management level, but you have sufficient insight into the technical matters to be able to talk along on that level as well;
• Knowledge of digital concepts such as Big data/AI, move-to-cloud, cybersecurity, robotics, extended reality, digital twin, IIoT, computer vision, etc.;
• General knowledge of digital solutions (CMS, CRM, platforms, marketing automation tools, ERP, …);
• Knowledge of / interest in programming languages (i.e. python, scala, SQL, java…);
• You are a real intrapreneur with hands on mentality and result-oriented approach. You have an appetite for sustainability and innovation;
