This biotech company based in Hainaut develops innovative, safe and effective products to improve the well-being of animals, owning two product lines: a pharmaceutical drug, currently in clinical phase, and a medical device, commercialised since April 2021 in Belgium.
To strengthen its team, the company is seeking for a Production/industrialisation Officer
Your responsibilities
As Production officer
  • Support the Product Manager in manufacturing planning activities.
  • Plan and perform internal production activities in accordance with GMP and ISO requirements and report to the Product Manager.
  • Manage logistic activities (warehousing, inventories, shipment, reception).
  • Manage QC activities (perform internal QC testing according to internal SOPs, plan with subcontractors).
  • Manage day-to-day operations (selection, ordering and purchasing of material, cleaning and disinfection of areas, inventories management...).
  • Ensure the compliance with GMP and ISO requirements.
  • Keep the production, QC and traceability documentation updated.
  • Write and update internal SOPs related to daily task.
As Industrialisation officer
  • Scale up new products or formulation from R&D to commercial.
  • Set up new manufacturing process according to GMP or ISO.
  • Manage subcontractors and CMO.
  • Ensure the compliance with GMP and ISO requirements.
  • Ensure the traceability of the production and QC documentation.
  • Write and update internal SOPs related to daily tasks.
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biotechnology.
  • A min of 5 years of experience as production officer is a plus.
  • Experience in product process industrialisation is a plus.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Knowledge in GMP and ISO requirements.
  • Able to work in autonomy.
  • Multi-tasking ability and attention to details.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluent in French and strong writing skills in English required.
