Looking for a unique job that you can be fully taught on the work floor? A challenging job in production but still no line work?

Here in Atelier Vierkant we make large ceramic pots by hand, these pots are built up and finished with clay. Once dry they are baked and shipped to all corners of the world.

For the finishing team we are looking for an extra employee.

  • Filling holes and cracks in ceramic pots with clay and with the necessary tools.
  • Providing pots with the requested finish, there are 16 different ways to finish a pot..
  • Using your transpalet to take the pot to the drying rooms before starting the next pot.
  • Of course you are also responsible for the cleanliness of the workplace.

This is a physically demanding job where you work with your hands in the clay. Everything is done manually there are no machines involved.

So we are looking for a person who is eager to learn and motivated to learn this unique job but who can also do physical work and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. It is a very challenging job where you can enjoy very good company training.

  • Good Knowledge of English or basic knowledge of English AND good knowledge of Romanian, Polish or Spanish.
  • You will be joining a multicultural company.
  • Physical work is not a problem.
  • You cannot get here by public transport, there is no bus stop from ’De lijn’ nearby. From the station in Bruges there is a free bus for employees, from Ostend you have to come by car, bicycle, scooter or step.
