The role
The Project Administrator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating project activities, under the direction of the PMO Lead. (The project team may consist of i.e. Architects, Technical Consultants, analysts, SLM specialists etc.)
The Project Administrator will assist in monitoring the scope, time, budget and quality expectations, planning, controlling and monitoring projects aligned to the SoftwareONE Delivery Methodology.
Core Accountabilities
- Coordinate and manage PMO activities in internal Project Management toolings
- Taking minutes of meetings, scheduling calls, updates on project progress and status, follow up actions status, assist Project lead with the updating of project documents
- Contribute to the maturing and updating of PMO documentation ( review templates, partner contracts..)
- Actively participating in functional and non-functional training
- Support Vertical teams/Internal Project Teams in the management of project functions
- Develop and maintain Project management best practices
Job Specific
- Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information
- Liaise with internal clients/Partners to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Make certain that internal clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget
- Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants
- Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spent
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Technical Skills
What we need to see from you
- 1-3 years work experience, as the Junior team member, relevant education or capabilities as structured, – the right candidate desires a career within Project Management and IT, and would like long term employment with SoftwareONE
- No certification is required, having an ITIL/ Project Management training or any Project Coordination Experience is a plus
- Excellence in administration and back-office support
