Title:Project Manager (Fluent in Dutch & French)

Location: Belgium / Luxemburg remote working options available (Some regular travel required to our offices in Ypres or Leuven)

Position Overview

In this key position your primary objective will be to manage the complete rollout of Timble’s solutions into the customers’ business process.

From training (via train the trainer principle), setting-up software linked to the hardware delivered and installed by Trimble T&L, supporting customers to integrate our solutions with other systems. You’ll be supporting our customers with digitizing their workflows as much as possible.

During the complete project lifecycle you will be the main technical point of contact for the customer.

Reporting to the Sales Director in Belgium and the Project Management Team Lead you will work closely with our diverse and talented team of colleagues in Sales, Account Management, Development and other Project Managers in the EU.

You Will Be Preparing Project Plans

What you’ll be doing:
  • Determining the project scope together with customer & account manager.
  • Aligning with team lead project management in case of new feature requests.
  • Defining the project deliverables & milestones and liaising with external third parties.
  • Capturing the needs of the customer, proactively suggesting the different possibilities and assisting in choosing the best fit.
  • Demonstrating the complete solution and how it would be implemented.
  • Communicating the captured information to the relevant internal department for processing.
  • Providing up to date documentation for the customer

You’ll Be Implementing The Project
  • Executing the project according to the project plan.
  • During implementation, you’ll guard the key project milestones.
  • Assisting the customer during implementation, this includes technical assistance, providing extra training, managing problems/questions and change requests.
  • Arranging the necessary training for the customer’s dispatch team and drivers.

You’ll Control And Evaluate The Project
  • Logging all time spent on the project.
  • Immediately reporting problems when they occur.
  • Providing weekly reports for customer/account manager.
  • Guarding key milestones, time consumption, quality & budget.
  • Correctly and consistently use the Trimble TL management tools.

Skills/Qualifications/Background You’ll Need For The Job
  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch and French language skills.
  • Degree Qualified within an IT field or have equivalent years of industry experience.
  • An IT background which covers a wide range of different systems & architectures.
  • Working knowledge of XML.
  • Experience of using (SOAP) web services and an understanding of network architecture.
  • A commercial aptitude and ability to sometimes work in pressurised situations.
Enhanced Knowledge & Experience that are helpful but not required:
  • Full professional proficiency in English language skills.
  • Experience in the Truck and Transport industry.
  • Experience in integrating different systems.
