As a Project Office Manager, your role is to steer and follow-up the procurement project team on a daily and long term basis in order to ensure all requirements and milestones for the different projects are met and to achieve/maximize project satisfaction and internal productivity.Your Responsibilities
- Steer and follow up the overall daily performance of the procurement project executive team, oversee daily activities, maintain a survey or scorecard system, in order to generate the expected targets and create optimum customer satisfaction
- Perform all necessary supervisory functions, develop and implement various KPI’s to ensure performance to customer expectations and monitors group as required. Report to management on forecasted and achieved results and kpi’s
- Define and manage the required human resources. Develop competences in the team, by knowledge transfer, training (Technical and non-technical skills) and coaching.
- Define the required tools, processes and methodology to enable the people involved in the project delivery process, to execute the project deployment strategy and achieve these goals.
- Identify potential problems, troubleshoot and participate in analysis of problems providing input for future process/design improvements
- Interface with Operation, R&D, Supply Chain and product management, as well as Sales & Marketing, in order to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence
- Handle escalation of project issues from internal stakeholders and suppliers. Organize assistance from other parts of the organization. Ensure internal communication and define all required actions to regain confidence and satisfaction.
- Define improvement programs to reduce/optimize the project deployment cost, schedule and quality
- You have a Master degree or equivalent by experience.
- You have strong project management skills. Experience in a purchasing department is a strong asset.
- You have strong interpersonal skills. An experience in a people management and a change management role is a plus.
- You have good communication and organizational skills. Having an eye for processes and process improvement is in your nature.
- You have a fluent knowledge in English and you preferably speak Dutch.
