Education/Certificates

• (* Master of Science or similar education)/ experience in civil engineering and/or structural design/ adequate trainings e.g. Project Management, Investment/ authorization

• Minimum (*3) 5-7 years’ experience within construction/building industry (working for a general contractor/construction management or technical consultant companies etc.), managing local industrial projects

• Good understanding of the Real Estate business and market knowledge

• Analytical and presentation skills and ability to follow-up both internal and external

• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools including Change Management

• Successful local project management experience

• Knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices

• Successful people and culture leadership

• Fluent in English both spoken and written

• Accountable for the successful delivery of a property project and ensuring that the business benefits are met. This means delivering the project to scope, time, cost, resource, quality and other defined targets.

• Accountable for continuously reviewing the ongoing validity of the projects and make recommendations of actions to the sponsor and/or steering committee.

• Responsible to manage the project team members, ensuring that the requirements of all project stages are met.

• Responsible for the planning, registration and update of investment projects in the internal project system(s) and to Investment Board, including monthly CAPEX estimates.

• Secure that investments are brought up in time according to defined processes and time plan.

• Responsible to follow up on progress and performance of the projects during all the project phases.

• Responsible to ensure that the requirements and objectives of project phases are met.

• Responsible to ensure health & safety compliance within all activities in property projects.

• Responsible for evaluation and selection of local contractors and design/construction consultants for property projects and assignments within scope, in close cooperation with Volvo’s purchasing function.

• Participate in selection of- and negotiations with suppliers in close cooperation with Volvo´s purchasing function and PM where purchasing responsibility are delegated to GRE.

• Support in land and/or property acquisition projects.

• Responsible for all project documentation, incl. CAD-drawings and ensure complete and accurate information.

• Responsible to secure an efficient hand over of the project and documentation to the Property Manager.

• Responsible for the process of orders and invoices that is related to GRE, regarding specific projects.
