PSA Engineer (H/F)

We are looking for a PSA Engineer to join our team in Brussels

Responsibilities

  • Perform probabilistic safety assessment to meet the regulatory requirements regarding the development of internal/external hazards/events Level 1 PSA
  • Update the existing internal events models (using Risk Spectrum PSA), taking into account: Current status of the plant (experience feedback for the development of operating profiles, operating procedures, plant modifications, etc.) ; The State-of-the-Art methodologies
  • Evaluate of the existing Level 1 PSA models to evaluate their adequacy to perform PSA applications
  • Support to the Operator in the use of these models for various applications (assessment of plant modification, decision-making process, optimizing the training programs of operators, etc.)
  • Present and / or justify the results of the studies in front of the Safety Authorities

Profile

  • Master degree in Engineering. A Master in Nuclear Science constitutes a further asset
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Level 1 PSA techniques in nuclear energy or equivalent other sectors (Fault Tree Analysis, Event Tree Analysis, RAMS, FMECA, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of RiskSpectrum® PSA software
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English. Willing to learn Dutch is an asset
  • An experience in performing internal/external Hazards PSA is an asset
  • With inquiring and critical mind, you are dynamic, rigorous, and pragmatic
  • Knowledge of computer Languages (e.g., Visual Basic) is an asset
  • Team player
  • Able to work autonomously
  • BA4/VCA/Nuclear Habilitation
