Account Executive – East Belgium Region
As an Account Executive for UPS Freight Forwarding you will be part of the Sales Team of 11 colleagues. You are responsible for Region East Belgium.
What do you do on an average day?
- Your week starts with a 9AM call with your sales colleagues and Sales Manager. This call is your opportunity to discuss any customer cases, support requirements, planning and any other topics which will help you to be successful.
- After the call you will start your company car and start with your own planning of customer and / or prospects visits.
- You focus on quality visits because your goal is to grow the business.
- Your products portfolio consists of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Brokerage.
- At the end of the day you make sure all follow-up activities have been finalized.
- Once a month you will have a team meeting on location and hear about sales results, market information, operational updates etc.
- Every 2 weeks you will meet your manager Jeroen Schous for a head to head to discuss your performance, needs and development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree is preferred
- Experience in Freight Forwarding preferred
- Dutch and English in writing and speaking is a must, speaking French is a plus
We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active, punctual, sales professional with Freight Forwarding knowledge.
Someone who understands the bigger picture, and is able to build bridges to all departments in order to strengthen the cooperation.
