Financial Analyst, Accounting & Reporting

For this purpose, we have more than 300,000 m2 in Belgium alone in various warehouses.

Jobdescription
  • Processing the complete bookkeeping of the assigned entities/countries
  • Preparing the monthly/annual financial closing of the assigned entities/countries
  • Reconciling the accounting and operational processes
  • Responsible for the Balance Sheet analysis and monthly reconciliation of the assigned entities/countries
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end internal and group reporting
  • Follow up on costs, accruals and provisions in collaboration with controlling and local teams
  • Participate in the yearly budgeting process
  • Closing the General Ledger accounts and financial reporting
  • Checking accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in the yearly external audit process as needed
Profile
  • Master or bachelor’s in economics, accounting business administration or similar
  • Previous experience within finance, accounting and/or audit is a plus
  • Knowledge of common accounting techniques - Fluent in English – any other languages are considered a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office (Word / Excel)
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
  • Critical, analytical and accurate person
  • Strong communication skills
  • Change management mindset

  • Ability to set priorities, understanding and act accordingly to urgency matters
  • Quick learner, like to take responsibilities and are proactive
