Job Description

  • Demonstrates adequate flair for and understanding of basic Accounting Processes
    • Debit/Credit,
    • Balance Sheet Vs. Income Statement,
    • Accruals & pre-payments,
    • Fixed assets,
    • Bank reconciliations & Intercompany invoicing,
    • VAT.
  • Handles effectively the sales invoicing, monthly disbursements and VAT returns, payments, bank reconciliations and postings on accounting systems
  • Processing Expenses from employees, consultants and clients
  • Responsible - for posting purchase invoices and all bank transactions to the accounting system and processing payments

The Successful Applicant

  • Holder of a degree in finance/accounting with 2 to 3 year’s work experience in a finance team or accountancy office. Official financial certification is an asset.
  • Language skills: English fluent, Dutch and/or French
  • Accounting tool: Exact and Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics) are strong assets. At least one of the two is mandatory
  • High proficiency of Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Count If, Pivot Tables…etc)
