Business solutions can only have optimal effect if they comply with what the business really needs, now and in the future. That is where you, the business architect, come in. You design the services, processes and information flows and you are the bridge with the teams that will build the solution. A job at tactical level, that allows you to work in the heart of our retail activities, or for a supporting service such as HR, Finance or Logistics.

As a business architect, you help Colruyt Group’s business units to convert their strategy and requirements into an architecture in the field of services, processes, features, and information. Apart from listening to the questions of your project-owner, you also ask questions until you clearly understand the goal. You advise about possible initiatives/solutions and you look into how you can integrate them. Doing so, you take our enterprise architecture into account.

From within that architecture, you provide the project teams that build the solution with a clear frame. You will work together with IT architects and solution analysts and support the project manager with the organisation of the project work. Until the end of the project, you ensure that the elaboration is aligned with the set architecture and that the result complies with the needs of the customer.

You will work in Halle or Mechelen, but you can work at home up to three days a week.

Profile:

  • Diploma and experience - You have a master diploma or are equivalent in experience. Preferably, you have experience with Archimate.
  • Conceptual and creative - You do not get lost in details, but you can see the bigger picture. You see connections long before other people do. You explore different creative alternatives to come to the best possible solution.
  • Communication skills - You can listen and adapt to your stakeholders. You can explain complex problems in a simple way.
  • Dare to advise - You dare to keep asking questions until you get to the essence of the problem. You imagine yourself in the client’s situation and then propose the best solution.
  • Languages- You speak Dutch and English: handy to consult with everyone, also with your colleagues in India.
