About BIORIUS:
Established in 2008, BIORIUS is mainly active in the cosmetic industry and is reputed for its scientific and regulatory affairs services. Among other missions, we help cosmetic brands to comply with the legal requirements of various regions/countries and facilitate the placing on the market of their products. Operating on a global scale, BIORIUS is leader in EU-related compliance services and offers an effective turnkey solution to companies targeting this market. Today, we work with hundreds of cosmetic companies, including many larger corporations and iconic brands.
About the position
The group BIORIUS develops fast since its creation and is proud of its annual two-digit growth. An initial expansion targeted the USA and was progressively followed by other markets. In April 2020, the opening of an office in Seoul was an important milestone in BIORIUS’ investment in the Korean cosmetic industry. Biorius is now investigating the Japanese Market and developing the Medical Devices market as well. In order to reinforce its Sales team, Biorius is looking for a new Business Development Representative.
The Business Development Representative is a multilingual person in charge of the management of sales, commercial negotiations, prospection actions and the follow-up of commercial enquiries. This is a challenging and exciting position in a fast-growing company in direct contact with international prospects of various cultures. The Business Development Representative is responsible for acquiring new clients, by defining their needs and drafting the adequate service offer to meet them.
This role requires excellent spoken and written English, a very good sense of organization and time management, flexibility and the ability to handle pressure. Therefore, fast learning aptitudes and self-motivation are also key to hold this position. A sense of empathy and understanding is also a must for this position.
The position implies planning and attendance of various commercial events.
About the profile:
- You will mainly be doing active prospection and growing the company client portfolio through the internet, the phone, and networking at various events
- You will handle prospect requests that are assigned to you
- You will negotiate contracts with companies all over the world and will be exploring new potential markets
- You will evaluate client needs and recommending or upselling services
- You will be representing the company at several events and trade shows all around the world and will effectively network with prospects that you will identify
- You will build effective relationships with the Regulatory and Account Management Departments to address potential prospect’s questions and expectations and to help better understand unanswered client needs
About the Successful Candidate
- You have 2-5 years of experience in the sales of premium services (experience in regulatory consulting services in the cosmetic sector is an asset)
- You are result-driven
- You are a strong & persuasive communicator with good negotiation skills
- You are graduated in commerce, marketing, economy (University Master degree preferred)
- You are autonomous, and also an excellent team-player
- You are well-organized, stress-resistant, motivated, flexible, extremely enthusiastic, and adapt easily to change
- You are client-oriented
- You must be able to speak and write in English, French, and any other language is a plus.
- You are willing to travel and represent our organization at trade shows (about 15% of working time)
- You have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and (the use of a CRM software is an asset)
- You are a fast learner and like challenges
