Business Planning and Analysis Assistant

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Experience in performing all aspects of project management functions including: the definition of requirements, project and funding authorization, acquisition, testing, acceptance, fielding, supporting, training, schedule management, integrated project reviews
· Demonstrated experience in producing price proposals
· Strong knowledge of the NCIA Agency business intake process
· PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner Certified or equivalent PMI certifications such as CAPM or PMP
· Very strong experience with Microsoft EPM
· Knowledge of working with Business intelligence tools (mainly Excel based) and the use of pivot tables


DUTIES/ROLE

  • Produce price proposals (also make sure that any coordination required with other Service Lines has been performed with due diligence)
  • Manage projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, scope and quality
  • Specialization in Enterprise and Service Management
  • Ensure realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate and also making sure appropriate resource levelling is done regularly
  • Track and maintain defined Key Performance indicators
  • Maintain the internal tracking file of NDW that is related to the business intake process
