For our client in Brussels, we are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Lead.

Your responsibilities:
  • Efficient organization of his/her team and maintain a structured overview.
  • Smoothly transfer knowledge and information about his/her project to the other team leads.
  • Use standard project management methods and set quantitative and qualitative targets for project execution.
  • Comprehensive monitoring of all his/her projects to ensure they meet various expectations and quality standards. You will be responsible for the achievement of project and team objectives and monitor the quality of deliverables and adherence to delivery schedule.
  • Report to the Workstream Lead / Process Team Lead / Project Sponsor on issues related to scope, blockages and risks, or approvals of deliverables.
  • Perform planning of the various tasks within the project for which he/she is responsible. You will monitor follow-up and make adjustments as needed.
  • Able to analyze complex situations specific to the public sector that may involve different stakeholders. You are able to summarize crucial technical information and translate it into simple terms so that it can be understood by different stakeholders.
  • Manage the project deftly (integrating Prince2 and Agile concepts) and be flexible in setting priorities.
  • You are a dynamic person who is not afraid to take initiative and able to deliver results on a regular basis.
Your profile:
  • More than 4 years of experience in leading projects with high responsibility, with a plus in IT project managers, and/or public sector project managers.
  • Experience in a complex environment where different teams work together on a common project.
  • Knowledge of common project management methodologies (Prince2, Agile, etc.) and IT project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience in creating a strategic roadmap for the implementation, stabilization or decommissioning of an IT solution.
  • Perfect knowledge of French or Dutch, as well as autonomous professional competence in the other language.
  • Monitoring projects; prepare detailed reports on progress, status, problems, risks, have an overview of the optimal use of available resources, etc.
  • Stakeholder management and communication: working with internal and external stakeholders and having good communication skills.
  • Maintaining a helicopter view and attention to detail.
