Summary

Develops design strategies or research projects, which are non-routine within areas of expertise to address specific technical requirements of a project.

Studies, designs and recommendations reflect impact by and to related disciplines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

• Support formulation development activities of new Clinical Nutrition products
• Contribute to technical feasibility analysis of complex research and design concepts.
• Participate in multifunctional project and/or technical teams and collaborate with various functions (analytical, manufacturing, stability, quality, regulatory...)
• Solid understanding of requirements for Product Development and Lifecycle Management (PDLM). Contribute to the writing of PDLM deliverables.
• Review relevant literature and patents
• Evaluate results relative to product requirements, definitions and/or program goals.
• Independently plan and execute a series of design and/or technical tasks that may not be well-defined, have multiple variables, and require advanced techniques within negotiated deadlines.
• Routinely provide advice and assistance to team members regarding unique problems.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of GxP and relevant regulatory requirements related to R&D (product development, design and safety) to ensure compliance in all research, data collection and reporting activities.

Profil

• MS or PhD degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy, Chemistry or related field.
• Experience in formulation development would be a great advantage
• GMP experiences in parenteral pharmaceutical industry would be a great advantage.
• Possess relevant laboratory/technical, writing, and computer skills.
• Ability to organize and communicate complex information.
• Utilize a logical, methodical approach in independently solving problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
• Ability to make decisions when provided with limited information.
• Ability to design experiments and draw meaningful conclusions from lab data.
• Good teamplayer
