Mission

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in industrial construction for our client in Mont Saint Guibert. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, in-depth knowledge of Belgian regulations, and the ability to oversee large-scale projects from design to on-site execution.

The client is an international leader recognized for its expertise in the design, engineering, and execution of turnkey industrial projects. As a Senior Civil Engineer, You Will

  • Develop and validate structural plans (concrete, steel, etc.) in collaboration with the design team.
  • Perform sizing calculations and propose solutions tailored to technical and economic constraints.
  • Supervise project planning and tracking, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure project compliance with local and international standards, particularly current Belgian regulations.
  • Manage necessary permits with relevant authorities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure the quality of work.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in real time.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports.

Profile

You Have

  • A degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the industrial construction field.
  • Expertise in structural design (reinforced concrete, steel structures) and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian norms and regulations.
  • Proficiency in design and calculation software (Autodesk, Robot, Tekla, etc.).
  • The ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluency in French and English (Dutch is an asset).
