Position Overview
Trimble Transport and Logistics, whose operations and development teams are located in Ypres and Leuven, is seeking an administrative order desk officer to join our team in Ypres, Belgium.
Order desk is the department within Trimble where all new sales orders are handled so that they can be prepared, packed and shipped to our customers. After shipment, Order Desk creates and sends the invoices to the customers.
Main Responsibilities
- You will report to the Order Desk Team Leader.
- You are responsible for the processing and follow-up of orders.
- You are responsible for preparing invoices.
- You are responsible for the review of contracts (cancellations, renewals, changes).
- You communicate with the customer, as well as between the various internal departments - sales, order desk, production planning, support.
- You carry out testing of new set ups of processes and products in our test environment.
- You help to find new solutions for existing processes.
- Higher education diploma, preferably related to business or economic studies.
- Some experience in an administrative function with analytical tasks.
- Demonstrates ability to work accurately.
- You are enthusiastic and positive with a good dose of team spirit.
- Fluent in written and spoken English & Dutch languages.
- CRM or Invoicing system knowledge would be advantageous.
