Education Field Manager Benelux

In short

The Education Field Manager Benelux will lead and enable the education field team (10 trainers). Your guidance allows them to further develop the sell-out of our Active Cosmetics Division (ACD) brands, in top pharmacies across the Benelux. Our ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in dermocosmetics, is based in Belgium and fully trilingual (English, French and Dutch). You will report into the Business Development Director.

Objective of the role:

As Education Field Manager you are responsible to drive the sell-out of the brands Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Cerave in top pharmacies by ensuring that the training managers have the best technical mastery of our brands and the dermocosmetics category.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the right ACD training strategy that is in line with the marketing plan.
  • Coaching the education field team in the Benelux (10 trainers).
  • Animate the education team to think and act 360 degrees: by fostering a strong cooperation with the sales representatives and the medical vistors, developing a business vision, tracking the turnover of their clients and challenge them on how to cope with new business challenges of the distribution.
  • Develop scientific training tools that are used by the training managers in pharmacies to train the pharmacists and the pharmacy assistants.
  • Development and coordination of all the tools that the training managers have to boost the sell-out of their clients: samples, mini products, POS materials and incentives.
  • Collect qualitative feedback from the field (including competition) to optimize our training strategy.
  • Define and follow-up on the sell-out KPI’s of the training managers.
  • Help the training managers to organize tailormade client events for our brands and track the ROI of these events.
  • Work on a B2B communication strategy and support individual pharmacies.
  • Upskill the knowledge of the team on various topics: Business, Digital and on the dermocosmetics category by organizing trainings for the team.
  • Responsible for the knowledge level of the internal colleagues via internal trainings.
  • Monitor the training budget.


You will work with:

We are looking for a true people manager with strong interpersonal, communicative skills. To be able to succeed in this role, you successfully work together with:

  • Training managers, who you manage and who give training in the pharmacies.
  • Pharmacies for which you will develop the right service.
  • Marketing teams Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Cerave, to make sure that the training managers focus on the right priorities of the brands within the in-pharmacy and to make sure that you develop the training tools that are in line with the vision of the brands.
  • International training team, with whom you exchange on best practices.
  • Sales field managers, to foster a strong cooperation between the sales representatives and the training managers.
  • Medical visit managers, to foster a strong cooperation between the medical visitors and the training managers.
  • The Education innovation manager, to ensure the right translation of the offline learning strategy to the online learning strategies for the pharmacies and to work on the right O&O learning strategy for the division.
  • Category Manager, to reinforce the B2B and B2C knowledge within the dermocosmetics category.
  • Business Development Director, to which you report.
