Electrical Engineer - (Fully site based role with rotation)

Mons, Belgium - Data Centre Construction

€70,000 - €85,000 + Overseas Allowance + Accommodation + Flights (17/4 rotation)

We’re working with a market leading in contractor who are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team on the delivery of Hyperscale Data Centre Construction projects across Europe. The successful candidate will support the Electrical delivery element of the project in conjunction with the wider project team.

Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the project development and implementation process. The Electrical Engineer will support the electrical delivery element of the project in conjunction with Electrical Supervisor and the wider team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work with contractors to ensure services fit together
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities
  • Communicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework to meet scheduled dates
  • Assist with the management of the project installation works to ensure a consistent high standard of site works and manage the programme through to final commissioning and handover

Skills and Requirements

  • Relevant 3rd Level Electrical Qualification essential.
  • Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience working on large scale construction projects is essential.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is ideal
  • Data Centre experience is advantageous
