Electronics Design Engineer (Immersive EXperiences)

The markets our immersive experience technologies are used in, range from live events, over theme parks and museums to flight simulators.

Our immersive experiences R&D organization focusses on developing projection and image processing technologies to make these immersive experiences come to life for our customers all over the world.

Barco IX is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer (location Kortrijk) to work on the next generation of projection solutions. You will be part of an international team based in Belgium and Norway.

As our Electronic Design Engineer
  • You take full ownership on PCB design and development (creating the schematics, follow up layout design with layout teams, writing MCU code, board start-ups and testing)
  • You work in a multidisciplinary and agile team towards a common goal

Your profile
  • You hold a bachelor’s or master degree in electronics
  • You are familiar with designing schematics for PCB’s
  • You are familiar with MCU development
  • You have knowledge of C/C++
  • You have good communication and documentation skills
  • You have a knowledge of English and are a team player
  • Knowledge on VHDL is a plus
