In the role of Engineer Industrial Equipment, you provide technical support from a mechanical engineering perspective. You are closely involved in the overhauls of pumps, gearboxes, and screw compressors. You work autonomously but can always rely on your colleagues within the mechanical engineering team. You perform these overhauls together with supervisors on the shop floor, keep contact with the client, and inform the rest of the organization about the progress.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Follow up on inspections and overhauls, taking into account work scope and deadlines
  • Measure and draft parts that need to be replaced, with or without the support of your colleagues within engineering, using the latest measuring techniques
  • Analyze the available data and identify possible root causes that have led to the damage
  • Order the correct parts in time and consult with suppliers on technical matters
  • Provide qualitative solutions from your engineering perspective

Some Requirements For This Role

  • Bachelor or master in electromechanics
  • Solid theoretical knowledge base but are also eagerness to learn
  • Relevant experience with rotating equipment
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, PTC Creo
  • Experience in managing people
  • Ability to work with common measuring instruments or are willing to learn
  • No 9 to 5 mentality
