Job Description

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for structurally importing and storing new data from different sources
  • You make agreements with the suppliers of the new data to set up the data transfers
  • You define the optimal structure to store this data in our environment so that it can be efficiently analyzed.
  • You develop the necessary processes for effectively importing, transforming and loading this data in our environment
  • You provide the necessary reports and dashboards that you develop yourself and you also help to choose the most suitable tools for this
  • You help to define the reports for sharing relevant data and KPIs with your colleagues. The focus here is on relevance, efficiency and ease of use.
  • The target group is mainly your own organization (Network & Infrastructure, TIO), but it can also be other departments such as Product.
  • You ensure the development of the reporting, and you choose the right tools and environments to make these reports available.
  • You help with the follow-up of capacity-related projects by preparing the necessary reporting.
  • You help build models and tools to predict traffic flows and network capacity and help to build network cost models.
  • You interact with colleagues within engineering, squad members, product owner, scrum master, Data & Insights colleagues, operational teams and product colleagues.
Profile
  • You have a master’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • You work result-oriented, and you take ownership
  • You are a strong team player
  • You like to work autonomously and have strong communication skills
  • You have attention for quality
  • You are enthusiastic, flexible and you work accurately
  • You have a strong affinity with network technologies for both the mobile and fixed network
  • You have a strong knowledge of Excel and data models
  • You have extensive experience with SQL
  • You have experience with MS SQL Server and its various components (SSIS)
  • You have a strong knowledge of reporting tools such as Qlik Sense for both data processing and dashboard development
  • You can translate technical results to a higher business level
  • You have programming experience and are familiar with web development (backend: PHP and frontend: JavaScript, CSS, html…)
  • You are familiar with cloud platforms and want to develop your skills further in them (AWS /GCP)
  • Optional: you have experience with Apache Spark, Python & R
