Export Officer (temporary assignment: 12 months)

The DPD officer export is the central point of contact between our plant-based supply points (factories), the selling Country business unit and/or involved commercial partners, and different internal (MPS planning, Supply chain coordinators, Logistical Services, Quality Assurance, …) and external (forwarders, carriers,...) stakeholders, mainly for markets outside Europe. Typically, involved responsibilities would be:

• Follow-up of the sales order as well as the internal related sales orders, end-2-end. In this, guaranteeing optimized transport planning and -costs.

• Proactive and professional communication towards any relevant stakeholder about order- and delivery status

• Showing creativity and flexibility in function of (last minute) changes, with a solution-oriented can-do mindset

• In case of shortfalls of stock, minimizing customer impact as much as possible

• Assessing & controlling impact of surrounding projects (production footprint changes, innovations, etc…) on your assigned customers

• Taking care of complaints & returns

• (Help) preparing different types of export documents or any other related documentation

• Monitoring and actioning relevant KPI set

• You obtained a bachelor degree or have equivalent working experience

• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Other language proficiency is considered an additional asset

• Knowledge of SAP is a big plus

• Acquainted at least basic Export/Custom knowledge, including familiarity with international sea freight and incoterm terminology

• Being a team player is self-evident for you
