A global fintech company is currently hiring for a Financial Crime Investigations Officer in their Brussels office, reporting to the MLRO. The ideal candidate can expect strong autonomy and opportunities for progression. As part of the Financial Crime Compliance team, you will be responsible for handling all investigations-related matters.

In this role, you will be:

  • Using tools to investigate suspicious activities
  • Communicating with various parties regarding alerts
  • Assisting the Head of Financial Crime Compliance in designing and developing training

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have strong AML/KYC/CTF and investigations skills
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a financial crime professional
  • Knowledge of the payments/fintech industry is a bonus, although not essential
  • Be fluent in English (essential)
  • Be fluent in another European language (bonus, but not essential)
