Function:

Act as integral part of Regional Accounting Team and provide accounting support and expertise to Finance Business Partners and leadership for multiple sites (locations) and Platforms (divisions), providing insight, consultation and governance over the accounting of actuals. Specifically, Preparation of Annual Statutory Reports in The Netherlands and Belgium, based on local GAAP, interacting with External Auditors, Flowserve Tax department and Flowserve European Accounting team members.

Multi-site responsibility and cross-platform support, acting as integral part of Regional Accounting Team with specific focus on Statutory and Tax Reporting in the Region, including interaction with External Auditors.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

• Focus on Process- and Efficiency-improvement, identifying and escalating issues and bottle-necks
• Research, troubleshoot, and answer basic to complex Accounting questions
• Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory laws and regulations and that business is conducted within Flowserve´s ethical code of business conduct.
• Ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete and submitted in accordance with Flowserve´s timetables. Where required, ensure that local statutory returns, secretarial matters and other fiduciary matters are efficiently dealt with.
• As a member of the Accounting team, provide financial information and analysis to support management and Finance Business Partner processes.
• Provide Multiple Site support in the Region whenever requested/needed.

Specific:

• Preparation of Annual Statutory Reports in The Netherlands and Belgium, based on local GAAP, interacting with External Auditors, Flowserve Tax department and Flowserve European Accounting team members.
• Assis Flowserve Tax department in preparation of Corporate Income Tax filings and USGAAP Tax Reporting.
• Oversight of European Holding Structure and interact with Shared Service Center for Month End Reporting.
• Preparation of monthly and annual CBS and DNB reports

You are the ideal colleague if you have:

• Five or more years of relevant accounting, including Statutory and Tax Reporting, experience
• Technical accounting education and skills
• Basic research and issue resolution skills combined with proactive attitude
• Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects
• Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities both in writing and verbally
• English language skills both in writing and verbally
• Ability to work in decentralized matrix organizations

Preferred Experience / Skills :

• Knowledge of USGAAP
• Working experience in a similar function or in an auditing firm
• Experience in project-based organization
• Knowledge of SAP and/or BPC
