We are looking for an IT Facilities Managerwho is driven, ambitious and process to join us in our Global IT Infrastructure team, based in our HQ office in Brussels, Belgium

About The Role

You will responsible of the design, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions enabling UCB Global Facilities business processes. You will partner with the wider business to implement digital solutions.

Who You’ll Work With

The IT Facilities Manager is a Global role partnering with internal and external stakeholders to envision the future of Facilities digital ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to define a shared digital strategy for UCB Global Facilities
• Oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of IT Facilities digital solutions
• Ensures the compliance of the deployed IT systems with relevant regulations and UCB standards and processes
• Writes technical validation documentation necessary to maintain the deployed IT systems in a compliant state.
• Survey market landscape for latest trends, solution insights, vendors and architectural principles.
• Drive the creation of architectural principles and guidelines to enhance the development of technical solutions in a scalable manner
• Evaluate and select IT vendors, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
• Develop and manages the IT Facilities budget, both CAPEX and OPEX, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
• Manages a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Ensures compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the followingeducation, experienceand skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience in leading IT Projects in the domain of Facilities, from evaluation to design to execution
• Good knowledge of "transversal " IT technologies: MS Windows, Server (MS/Linux), virtualization (VmWare, Citrix), Network&Firewall.
• Good understanding of Cloud and SaaS deployment models and emerging technologies such as IoT
