We are looking for a Head of Product for our Search&Match team. The fast-growing Search and Match department (50+ people) provides the best-in-industry search and recommendation technology to the different international brands of the StepStone Group.

You will be responsible for overseeing product management for matching and recommendation applications, driving the innovation and strategic prioritisation, and supporting the delivery of Search&Match development. You will be also responsible for the roadmap governance and you will coordinate the roadmap alignment with the different management stakeholders.

As a true enabler, you will be the SPOC for the different corporate stakeholders to help and promote projects and products in local brands.

    • Creation of a ambitious but realistic roadmap
    • Defining and monitoring the Search and Match success (overall KPIs and new features)

  • Manage a team of product owners and a business analyst for operational excellence
  • Cultivate collaboration with all group partners, remove obstacles and actively seek to reduce risks impeding your team deliveries
  • Initiate and drive the creation of new matching features and products from ideation over specification to test and roll-out
  • Work closely with the other teams within the Data&AI organisation to realise our vision of Autonomous MatchingTM
  • Help finding the right job for everyone!
  • You have a minimum experience of 5 years in a senior product role within a technology driven company.
  • Knowledge of online search and matching technologies and/or conversational AI is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, knowledge of Dutch, French or German is a plus.
  • Ability to manage conflict of interest and find middle ground in an internal competitive environment.
  • You ideally have a software engineering or data science background
  • Well organized and proven track record for operational excellence
  • Excellent people management skills and confident to drive, manage and challenge the different senior management stakeholders
  • You are solution-driven and a problem solver, you can look at issues from multiple angles, assess risks and form a sound, fact-based judgement to support decisive actions
  • You feel comfortable working in an online software development organization, across the full product development life cycle
  • Since the Search&Match team is distributed over Brussels, Berlin, London and Munich, you should be able to travel several days a month
