We are seeking a driven and proactive HR Adviser to join our London based HR team, providing support to our Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) offices. The HR Advisor will work alongside colleagues ensuring the successful day-to-day execution of operational HR processes to ensure an exemplary service to our colleagues across the EMEA region.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a matrixed environment providing HR support to offices in multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for EMEA HR questions related to policies and procedures, Collective Bargaining Agreements, payroll and benefits queries, immigration and other general administrative questions.
- Work with EMEA office managers to ensure a consistent application of HR processes and policies across the EMEA region.
- Work with the Junior HR Advisor to ensure a smooth onboarding and leaving process.
- Keep track of monthly administrative tasks e.g. probation periods, referral payments and timely notifications to payroll etc..
- Work closely with the global mobility team to process secondments and office transfers.
- Track vacation and holiday accruals (in TeamSeer) and reports balances to appropriate managers.
- Advise on periods of family leave, military service, study leave and all other forms of absence, including all the necessary official procedures and paperwork in each country.
- Maintain electronic filing system to ensure accurate and effective records are kept.
- Manage basic employee relations issues, escalating to the Senior Manager as needed.
- Assist with the annual review of salaries and bonuses.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required, recent projects include establishing a wellbeing framework and introducing agile working.
- CIPD level 5 or above qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems.
- Work in an extremely collaborative fashion within a small and dynamic HR team.
- Ability to identify potential issues, apprise managers of issues as they arise, and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
- Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines.
- Skilled in organising tasks and establishing priorities.
- Ability to work with confidential materials and maintain complete discretion with personnel files and data at all times.

- European languages are desirable (particularly Spanish and German).
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably gained with a professional services environment.
- Good understanding of HR processes across Europe.
- Experience across multiple HR functions including HR data updates, payroll, benefits, immigration, compensation, and recruiting.
- Experience and confidence with HR and Recruitment systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office with a focus on Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.
