Our people are the essential ingredients to our success and you will be responsible for HR support for specific sites on the topics of talent management, leadership development, early career programs, career opportunities, mobility and strategic talent review. For people managers of particular sites, you will act as the point of contact for specific HR questions. You are the trusted partner and will lead the implementation of global strategies and initiatives across all production sites. You will be responsible for guiding business strategies framing issues related to individuals.
Your role and responsibilities:
- You will associate and establish relationships with the main stakeholders, understand the impacts of individual decisions on the commercial or logistics chain, so as to meet the commercial objectives, by offering an external point of view (roadmap of production sites, human resources plans, factory of the future)
- Oversee the on-site labor relations strategy, including communication elements, relations with works councils and compliance
- Promote commitment to the production site culture development program, coach managers (leaders) on key cultural elements and organizational values (as curator of high performance work system) and ensure effective management of learning in production sites
- Work in partnership with management teams on strategic priorities ranging from workforce planning to talent acquisition, including leadership development, early career programs, career development, replacement planning, mobility and strategic talent review
- Leverage data analytics to find solutions and inform decisions that translate into action plans that impact bottom lines and turn business strategy into reality. Keep the People Services informed of all local, legal and regulatory changes in the market
- Support factory management in their efficient management of deadlines and clocking systems and policies as needed, coach factory managers and pillars of factory management, based on factory needs or KPI, and will support performance tuning if applicable
- Lead the people Process / impacts of plant transformations with effective change management

- Experience as a generalist HR expert having worked with varied populations and different hierarchical levels
- Solid experience of working with unions to implement changes
- A proven track record as a credible and trustworthy business partner, able to engage, inspire and influence individuals
- Professional experience of the Lean Six Sigma method to strengthen performance
- HR management thanks to your great curiosity, an orientation linked to your knowledge and an external point of view on individual and company performance
- Good interpersonal skills, planning and ambiguity management
- Forward-looking by anticipating and foreseeing new opportunities, you benefit from an external vision adapted to the internal thanks to your understanding of market trends
Significant experience in HR management in a plant is essential as well as the ability to manage both very operational and daily aspects on the one hand and to develop a strategic vision of performance and social climate issues on the other. You will also have experience in international groups with matrix organizations and you are ready to play an active role in the Western Europe team.
Key Skills
- Performance coach for Plant Directors and Plant Leadership Pillar in line with Plant needs/KPI’s – support Performance calibration where applicable
- Accountable for reviewing compensation programmes, collective bargaining process and IL6S skills and performance based by pay principles and supporting compensation decisions outside of guidelines
- Pre-empts future HR concerns through use of data analytics, leveraging insights to proactively seek and implement solutions based om understanding of relevant business operations and strategy
- Leads people process/impact on any ISC Plant Transformation with effective change management
- Drives implementation of global strategies and initiatives across ISC/Plants; responsible for influencing business strategy for people related issues
- Focus areas within this role will include Employee relations, Organisational design, Learning and Development and Talent benchmarking
- A Continuous Improvement mindset is welcome together with strong leadership skills
- Partner with Senior People lead in order to be consistent in people management approach and trade unions perspective/relations
- Partner with Local People Experience Lead on people priorities staff
- Proven operational experience in managing labor relations is also essential.
- Manages works council relations and provides guidance to ensure successful implementation of labour policies, and compliance with laws and agreements
- Partners with CoEs on executive hires, and Plant Leadership Team for Core team recruitment needs
- To succeed in this position you will need to rely on a solid team, most of which reports to the Belgian and European shared service centers.
