Role Overview:

As an HR Professional, you thrive on working independently and handling all HR matters for our offices in Belgium. You will collaborate with your HR colleagues from the Benelux team, based in Enschede and Utrecht.

Responsibilities:

  • Smooth Payroll Operations: Ensure payroll runs efficiently.
  • Daily HR Management: Handle daily HR tasks and maintain HR administration.
  • Manager Advisory: Advise managers on performance, talent management, and absenteeism issues.
  • Innovative Development: Develop tools and ideas with your HR colleagues to help employees contribute to the organization’s growth.
  • Challenges and Opportunities:
  • Dynamic Environment: Embrace working in a challenging, non-ready-made setup.
  • Integration Efforts: Contribute to the integration of business processes, focusing on COEs and HR OPS.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to significant changes within the Benelux HR team, requiring a proactive, generalist HR approach.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of 4 HR professionals in the Benelux region, each focusing on areas like absenteeism and vitality, legal and employment conditions, culture and performance, and projects and support.

Work Environment:

  • Act as a sparring partner for managers and a sounding board for employees.
  • Independent and Collaborative: Work independently from Beringen while initiating improvements with your colleagues in the Netherlands.
  • Global Implementation: Implement global processes, training, and tools to contribute to organizational goals.
  • Diverse Tasks: Handle a variety of tasks from advising on dismissals, labor law, or absenteeism to participating in international project meetings or drafting employment contracts.
  • Close-knit Team: Work in a small, close-knit team with short lines of communication, ensuring your ideas come to fruition within an international corporate context.

  • Essential Knowledge: Knowledge of labor law and/or absenteeism is essential.

  • Educational Background: An HBO or WO level education may be helpful, but we are open to different backgrounds.
  • Operational Experience: Operational HR experience is crucial.

Language Requirement: Fluency in Dutch is essential.
