ICS Finance Manager

Mission

By partnering closely to the finance community of corporate accounting, controlling and transactional finance, the purpose of this role is to

a) simplify and improve the financial administration practices and processes associated with the management of internal IT cost and vendor contract cost,

b) improve financial forecasting accuracy and benchmarking of the cost of IT services,

c) simplify the ICS budgeting process as part of the Agfa new budget process project,

d) simplify the chargeback processes to the businesses/functions of internal IT cost and vendor contracts. This will result in IT cost transparency and value assurance to the businesses/functions

e) report on budget/actuals that provide necessary insights for EMM and business around consumption of IT services

f) conduct checks for correctness of ESP invoices

g) identify opportunities for cost savings

h) Provide insights to ICS staff on how to stay on budget

Job

Contract management:

• Reviews vendor charges, identifies disparities and escalates to vendor manager(s)and service managers

• Allocates costs across the enterprise and performs regular audits to ensure contract budget compliance.

• Performs cost-benefit analyses and supports architects and BRM’s (business relationship managers) in collecting the input for the business cases necessary to gain approval for vendor-supplied services.

  
  

Planning and Control:

• Executes analysis on ICS financial conditions and develops recommendations for senior ICS and finance leadership team

• Executes the analysis, development and implementation of financial services for ICS planning and control

• Analyses and prepares ICS new format budget and consolidates proposals by collecting supporting documentation and justification

• Provides financial statements for IT leadership team such as monthly budgets and summary reports

  
  

Compliance

• Develops financial metrics and conducts audits to ensure compliance with budget

• Audits invoices for contract payment

• Drives common accounting practices, reconcilements, and consistent reporting

• Ensures compliance with all legal requirements as well as internal finance policies and procedures

• Maintains annual expense budgets utilizing proper accounting/budgeting controls, enters financial data into tracking system and provides regular and ad-hoc financial status reports

  
  

Support to other functions/business

• Provides financial assistance for the IT organization.

• Assists in and provides input to external financial audits.

• Assists in the development of an appropriate costing/pricing model and chargeback scheme for IT services.

• Assists in and executes financial benchmarks of IT Services and reports on the value assurance of IT.

• Implements cost allocation programs and responds to basic questions and concerns from the business areas.

  
  

Profile

• Master degree, ideally in business engineering, economics or IT or equal by experience.

• Proven track record in finance, finance processes / IT department

• +5 years proven track record in finance and financial processes related to IT department

• Knowledge of (SAP) financial processes at corporate accounting, corporate controlling and transactional accounting related to IT systems.

• Proven analytical skills, numeric reasoning ability and familiar with financial reporting tools.

• Understanding IT/Finance business organisation and practices (approaches, culture...)

• Proven leadership skills, you are capable of inspiring stakeholders and building trust

• Focus on results and adaptable in a strong changing environment.

• Good communication skills and fluent in Dutch and English
