We are hiring a ICT Security Manager for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

As ICT Security Manager you will be responsible for:

• Designing Security Architecture of web or S2S applications.
• Design and setup of a secure development lifecycle
• Management of security tests
• Elaboration of security test programs.
• Application penetration testing
• Participation in meetings with the project teams.
• Design and development of secure web and multi - tier applications.
• Evaluations of security products and tools for information systems.
• Give advice on IT security matters
• Contribute to the IT security risk management process

Education and technical expertise

Level of education corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (which typically corresponds to a master’s level or 5 years of higher education).

In-depth knowledge in the following domains:

• Good knowledge of software engineering, developing software packages and systems
• Good knowledge of IT security standards.
• Good experience with quality procedures.
• Ability to coach developers, testers or junior security consultants.
• Ability to communicate on IT security at different levels (e.g. Projects and Business Managers, Heads of Unit, Directors).
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
• Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment

Specific expertise

IT Security consultant with the following specific expertise:

• Application security.
• Strong experience with Java & JEE technologies
• Analysis and Design: gathering security requirements, threat analysis.
• Web application penetration testing and strong ability to formulate non-functional security requirements during software development.
• Good knowledge of PKI, including the ability to coach and support colleagues on its implementation and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of information system security concepts and their practical application, understanding of current trends
• Good knowledge of IT security standards
• Good experience with quality procedures
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Burpsuite is an asset.
• Knowledge of OWASP models, frameworks and guides is an asset
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, OCSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, GWEB) are an asset

Languages

• Very good command of English is mandatory. French is an asset.
