Job description

The International Product Manager Pitched Roof, Agri & concrete elements manages the product portfolio and defines & implements a strategy for the relevant product groups (incl. current products, new products and developments, phasing out or upgrades where necessary).

  • You manage the existing product portfolio, evaluate possible changes/updates and phase outs and act upon these. This includes both produced products and out purchased products.
  • You drive the development projects for the assigned products (e.g. define the project description, lead the first and last stages of the NPD Process).
  • You define a product strategy for the assigned product groups in line with the strategy of the company. You take the lead to implement activities from the product strategy in collaboration with different departments.
  • You acquire a good market and product knowledge (EU, different countries, stakeholders and target groups) in order to define and evaluate the different needs.
  • You lead and participate in projects.
  • You communicate well with internal customers and prepare the messages for external customers/partners together with the Marketing Department.

Profile

  • You have a master’s degree in engineering or economics and 5 – 10 years professional experience.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in product management, including experience in product strategy, project management and product lifecycle management.
  • Good knowledge of and affinity with building/construction and agricultural sector is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of handling product masterdata in ERP is a plus.
  • You are structured, driven and enthusiastic.
  • You have excellent interpersonal relationship skills, ability to develop strong partnerships and to work cross functional at different levels in the organisation
  • You like to take responsibility and have a hands-on approach.
