Kuehne + Nagel is looking for a Junior Business Development Manager who will work within the Business Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating Business Development flows, creating commercial documents, and completing reporting. This role is perfect if you are looking to become a Business Development Manager within 2-3 years or if you have experience in a marketing role and looking to get more involved in the business side.
Your Role

The commercial responsible will be responsible to ensure that the Business Development team can perform by supporting them in the commercial trajectory. The role is not a purely support role as you will be involved in project coordination, commercial offer creation, and marketing approach. Where possible, and if a fit with the candidate there is the possibility to be directly involved in business development.
Your Responsibilities
  • You will coordinate large opportunities where you ensure project plan and follow-up;
  • You will asssist in the creation of vertical analysis and act as a sparring and research partner;
  • Keep all commercial materials up to date and work within clear templates that you coach others on how to use;
  • Consolidate the different marketing plans for each of the verticals into one consolidated Benelux marketing planning. You will follow up the execution and delivery of the planning;
  • Assist in Business Development and retentions meetings both in the preparation and the summary.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • Minimum bachelor degree;
  • Min 2-3 years in operational logistics role with clear customer orientation or experience as a consultant in business development within contract logistics
  • Clear commercial acumen
  • You are process driven and can act as a coordinator;
  • Understand the base of B2B marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch.
