For our HR department in Genk, we are looking for an HR officer.
- You are responsible for processing changes, such as entry and exit from employment, fines, declarations and contract changes in the system. When processing the mutations, you check the consequences that the mutations have on any other employment conditions.
- You’ll play a key role in helping new team members get settled in and feel at home during their onboarding journey.
- You are the first source of information for employees with HR questions. Depending on the complexity of the issues, you can answer these independently or consult the HR manager.
- You provide administrative and organizational support in the field of Recruitment & Selection, including maintaining contacts with selected employment agencies.
- You review sickness reports to ensure that the necessary initial actions are taken in accordance with employment standards.
- You verify compliance with the general terms and conditions of employment (House Rules).
- Your responsibilities include drafting standard correspondence, such as written confirmations of changes and employment contracts, among others.
- You support the development of job descriptions and classifications.
- You will participate in creating and implementing training plans.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- You have successfully completed a higher level education in a relevant HR field.
- You possess a strong command of both Dutch and English. Proficiency in French and/or additional languages is advantageous.
- You are an effective communicator with a good sense of empathy.
- You work well in a team, are adaptable, and demonstrate high levels of motivation.
