The Commercial Marketing Lead will help local Truck and OTR replacement and Fleet Mobility sales teams reach their lead acquisition, customer retention, volume, and profitability objectives.
Additionally, The Lead Will
- Understand the business environment (customers, partners, competitors…) in order to design a Marketing plan that is fully relevant in its market context.
- Fully execute the local Marketing plan, on time, after ensuring its full consistency with Goodyear’s Commercial EMEA Marketing strategy and the PBU’s (Product Business Units) business objectives.
- Ensure that all Marketing actions/communications are fully in line with Goodyear’s Corporate identity and local Legislations in order to ensure Goodyear’s image consistency and to protect the Company’s reputation and brand name.
- Define the local Marketing plan in line with the Commercial EMEA Business Unit and the Commercial EMEA Marketing strategy and objectives including campaigns, content, events, and digital initiatives. Implement the Marketing activation plan for Commercial Products, Solutions and Services (Truck and OTR). Localize and deploy centrally created Marketing collaterals. Create local Marketing collaterals in addition if necessary.
- Activate digital Marketing strategy through local initiatives such as sellout campaigns, CRM, website content management, traffic analysis, SEO, SEA, and social media.
- Work closely with the sales teams (Truck and OTR Replacement and Fleet Mobility), enabling them to meet their business objectives by providing them with appropriate guidance, tools, materials, and presentations.
- Define, control, and report the Marketing budget. Ensure optimized use of the Marketing budget and that the latter remains inside of the allocated budget frame for the country/cluster.
- Collaborate with the Communications’ Hub Leader to define a communication calendar covering traditional and social media coms in order to support demand generation, loyalty, brand, new products, services, and solutions introduction as well as support Goodyear’s thought leadership positioning.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to develop sales force capabilities to successfully bring to market the complete value proposition.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing.
- 4+ years’ experience in Marketing functions - Sales experience is a plus.
- Good Project Management skills.
- Comfort in operating with numbers.
- Efficient communicator.
- Executional drive. Confident, structured, creative, and dynamic personality.
- Capability to well understand customers and internal team’s needs.
- B2B marketing practice and tools knowledge incl. digital.
- Product and industry (automotive, transportation, logistics, leasing) knowledge is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
