The Digital Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) team supports the network of Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) manufacturing sites, with architecting, designing, prototyping, developing, and deploying suite of analytics platforms and solutions that drive data-driven decision making and optimize manufacturing processes.
The Manager, Digital Manufacturing Intelligence, will lead development and deployment of innovative Data and Analytics solutions that solve complex business problems, driving data-driven decision making and manufacturing process optimization across the global network of PGS sites, leading to increased process robustness and improved product yield & quality, while increasing asset utilization and manufacturing attainment.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Digital technologies and analytics and cloud platforms, while being a proactive problem solver and able to rapidly respond to changes in a highly dynamic work environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the product owner for a portfolio of Digital and Analytics solutions across manufacturing and supply chain, responsible for end-to-end product design, build, and deployment
- Gather and refine detailed requirements for Manufacturing Intelligence projects and prepare them for execution by the development team
- Maintain a prioritized backlog to ensure initiatives are delivered according to schedule
- Facilitate the execution and implementation of initiatives by working closely with the development team(s), identifying and solving issues as they arise, and completing user acceptance testing to ensure functionalities are built correctly as committed
- Communicates issues, solutions and alternatives to internal team and appropriate stakeholders
- Work with program leadership and business stakeholders to define performance metrics and identify improvements
- Conduct backlog refinement and prioritization, iteration planning, and coordinate dependencies with other Product Owners
- Perform other duties as assigned
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology based subjects(s) or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in Product Management/Ownership role in the Digital space
- Experience in Agile delivery, and relevant tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Relevant domain experience in manufacturing and/ supply operations
- Experience in all stages of solution and application lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, and solution deployment through to value realization and system retirement
- Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required
- Knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments
- Outstanding communication and management skills to guide meetings, provide direction, conduct presentations, while interfacing with business sponsors/leadership
- Proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams
- Experience with Cloud technologies and AWS services (SageMaker, S3, Redshift, EMR, MSK, EKS)
- Ability to manage many competing priorities/deadlines, and influence without authority
