My client is looking for Network Engineer NOC, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?

Position: Network Engineer NOC

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Remote)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

Degree in Computer Science or Certifications in Network Technologies, Information Systems, or other related disciplines (preferred).
Experience in Network Management Systems (5 years)
Good knowledge of Network monitoring environment.
Good knowledge with routing and switching technology (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC, OTV...)
Excellent understanding TCP/IP protocols and related DNS (Infoblox), QoS
Knowledge of Cisco ACS / ISE / Prime, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, F5is a plus.
Experience in SDN / Cisco ACI is a real asset.
Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Fluent in English

Main mission:

Receive, analyse Network Alerts and incidents
Solve more common issues
Dispatch more complex issues to Network engineers
Follow, manage Telco incident with providers
Documentation
Execution of Standard service queries (DNS, IP, HLB creation / clean-up)
Firewall Change Request implementation
100 % of activity must be for the above
Business Hours 8 am – 6 pm
WD service – per day in rotation with the Euroclear people– costs may be mentioned in the offer for future activation
WE work – IOS upgrade participation, …
Continuous improvement in process (proposal for automation to be provided to our automation team)
