Network & Security Engineer - Leuven Region - Hybrid Working

Your role:

You will be the subject matter expert in networking within the operations team, technically leading a team of network engineers
Responsible for leading projects related to network and security solutions, and overseeing the design and implementation of services, while ensuring the stability, security, and performance of network and IT ecosystems
Build focused position (90%) with some run elements as well

Your background:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT, Computer Science, or other related fields
5+ years’ experience in similar roles
Strong knowledge in Networking (Routers, Switches, Wireless Networks, Network Access Control, Load Balancing, Software Defined Network) with Juniper, Huawei, or Cisco
Experience in security and firewalling with Fortinet, CheckPoint, or Palo Alto - relevant certifications will be beneficial
Knowledge of Azure Cloud - ideally hold a certification
The ideal candidate will have experience in technical and/or people management
Fluent in English and Dutch
