Company Description

The Belgian Medicines Verification Organisation (BeMVO) is a non-profit organization responsible for implementing and managing the Medicines Verification System in Belgium and Luxembourg (NMVS). BeMVO represents stakeholders involved in securing the legal supply chain from falsified medicines, including Marketing Authorisation Holders and Distribution stakeholders.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Operations Manager at BeMVO.

The role is located in Temse (Belgium), but some work from home is acceptable.

Job Description:

  • Analyze and report on data collected in the NMVS and NMVS alerts management system.
  • Maintain end-user databases.
  • Project management (new software, new applications, new suppliers).
  • Support/back up for customer support colleague (helpdesk and alert management).
  • Support/back up for your QA colleague (software validation and QMS).
  • Represent BeMVO in technical meetings with service providers.
  • Represent BeMVO in technical meetings with other NMVO’s (28 countries)
  • Point of contact for Belgian software suppliers who need to integrate the verification solution into their software.
  • Assist your QA colleague in validating new software releases.

  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality (take initiative, work independently).
  • Enthusiasm and ambition.
  • IT savvy
  • Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and lookup functions).
  • Being accurate and structured in your work
  • Eager to learn.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical world.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and QA procedures.
  • Ability to quickly and easily absorb and process new information.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
