Oracle Database Administrator - Waterloo, Belgium - Up to €80,000 gross per year

Are you a talented and experienced Oracle DBA who is looking for a new opportunity to grow and learn?

One of our international clients are looking for an Oracle DBA to join their talented team for up and coming projects. In this role you will be handling large database estates and designing and implementing the high availability solutions.

  • Up to €85,000 gross per year
  • Waterloo, Belgium - on site twice a week
  • 12 month contract

Technical:

  • Strong database administration - Oracle
  • Database upgrades on multiple versions and releases
  • Experience on OS, Storage, Network and Virtualization activities
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshooting on Golden Gate

Day to Day:

  • Install, configure and manage ASM instances in oracle
  • Plan and execute major migrations and upgrades
  • Define and configure the disk and diskgroups in ASM and troubleshoot
  • Manage and administer the databases on Exadata machine
  • Plan the database upgrade, migration and patching
  • Plan and implement the backup/recovery on need basis
