In Belgium Novartis employs around 2,000 people across 3 sites, including a world-leading production site for eyecare treatments in Puurs.
With the future operating model in our People & Organization (P&O) team, we will be able to sharpen our strategic focus and partner aligned with business leaders to create disproportionate value. You will be essential in preparing the organization for the future and operationalizing strategic P&O plans for an efficient implementation in our Site in Puurs/ Belgium to serve the business priorities and ensure long-term strategy enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
In Belgium Novartis employs around 2,000 people across 3 sites, including a world-leading production site for eyecare treatments in Puurs.
With the future operating model in our People & Organization (P&O) team, we will be able to sharpen our strategic focus and partner aligned with business leaders to create disproportionate value. You will be essential in preparing the organization for the future and operationalizing strategic P&O plans for an efficient implementation in our Site in Puurs/ Belgium to serve the business priorities and ensure long-term strategy enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning holistically the talent strategy and tackles most pressing people and transformation opportunities to enable the business’ growth and flexibility in upcoming challenges.
- Strategic workforce planning to ensure a flexible and efficient organization supporting the business priorities and adaptable to future demand needs.
- Consulting, coaching and identifying key capability gaps to ensure future readiness
- Proactively provide in input on organization diagnosis and design activities, leveraging input from CoEs
- Be the change ambassador and role model for transformational change programs
- Shape and coach business on embedding of culture, diversity & inclusion aspirations, enable managers and associates in the full spectrum of their self-service responsibilities
- Manage the coaching and mentoring of all associates and establish a strong feedback culture thriving for empowerment and curiosity.
- Provide strong project management and change management guidance and prioritize the implementation of enterprise-wide programs in the local environment and close collaboration with the overall country P&O strategy.

- 8+years of Human Resources generalist experience in various industries, ideally in the manufacturing business sector and exposure to matrix environments
- Demonstrate a strong sense of leadership and confidence to work with a range of various stakeholders with wide range of priorities
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships and foster collaboration allowing for strong levels of high challenge with key stakeholders
- Be an ambassador and role model for the culture journey enabling managers and associates to drive the change and make a difference
- Strong business acumen and enterprise mindset allowing to manage complexity in an ambiguous environment
- Good experience on change management and understanding of handling end-to-end complex projects
- Thrive for fast paced environments and passion for P&O, courageous to dive into new topics and have fun at work!
