Job Objective
The Performance Management Expert initiates sales activities in the GM region for the LHG carriers, JV partners and Eurowings Discover based on the analysis and evaluation of market-specific data. She/he identifies opportunities and threats by applying business and market intelligence. She/he links multiple data sources and re-ports to gain valuable insights for key stakeholders. She/he is involved in the processes Sales Reporting and Sales Steering.
Key Result Areas
- Steering of the local revenue budget for LHG and JV partners by regular analysis of market, competition and LH Group & JV performance to identify action fields, threats & opportunities. Creation of sales roadmaps for local markets
- Regular analysis and monitoring of market, competition and LH Group & JV performance for all segments, corporates, channels etc. in order to identify threats and opportunities
- Provide incentive forecasting (both corporate & agency incentives) in cooperation with local account steering/markets
- Consolidate local market information (like competitor information, OBE settings, industry developments) at local level and forward these to relevant central departments
- Representation of interests towards central departments/committees/projects incl. active participation in decisions and preparations e.g. for “Performance Management and Analysis Session”, “Sales Steering Campus Sessions”, AX Directs round, VR RPM, CCB etc.
- Cost and efficiency/ROI calculations of planned contracting models (e.g. AIP/CIP and push actions), in close cooperation with the local Account Steering Experts
- Definition, evaluation and prioritization of market and customer requirements for the flight plan and evaluation of existing regional partnerships
- Support the compilation of business cases for exceptions from the contracting policies with business intelligence, analyses and calculations
- Regular exchange with Market Offer Coordination and Joint Venture Partners.
- Liaise with Account Steering experts, ensure information flow of competitive intelligence, and address local market needs toward central teams.
Profile
- High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required.
- Bachelor degree in economics (or equivalent) required.
- Min. 3 years of relevant working experience required.
- English required, German desirable
- Knowledge of LHG Sales and related commercial units desirable
